germany

GERMANY
I reached Germany on February 8th, Tuesday. When I got out from the airport, it was freezing cold. but now that I am in Germany for nine days I don't feel that cold anymore. I had encountered snowing twice in my short nine days. The second time was today and we went out with our hood on, but the snow still landed on our coat, pants, shoes and hair. It condensed into water droplets very quickly and it was very obvious on my hair. We also played with the snow at the balcony of our service apartment the first time when it snowed.
Today, I went to the Dresden International School (DIS) to take a test it was quite easy and I did not know how to do five maths questions only ( there was about thirty over questions ). The test was to decide whether I should go to grade 5 or 6.
I also video chatted with nai nai and po po. They both asked us the same questions : Is Dresden cold? Is it fun in Dresden? I miss them just as much as they miss us. I also miss my friends, but luckily we still keep in contact via facebook and msn.
On a day ( I forgot which day) we went to our service apartment ourselves, without daddy, confidently. But our happiness was shortlived when we got lost, but luckily daddy gave mummy the global positioning station (GPS) as back-up. Whew!
I cannot wait to go to school, and would like to make new friends!

Child Aid

Yesterday, we went to Resort Sentosa (the carpark was soo big that it is about 1.9km from outside to the end)to watch Child Aid, and the talented kids performed to raise funds for children who don't have money. When we walk in, a lot of people said hello, and I felt like a celebrity walking on a red carpet, we also took pictures with Shrek and Fiona. The performance was very interesting and the songs were very nice. For the finale song they sang hsm's song, what time is it? They also changed "wildcats everywhere, raise your hands up in the air" to "child aid everywhere, raise your hands up in the air", too bad GG was asleep...
After the concert, we went out through the main door and the people and chefs lined up in one straight row to say good-bye. It had been a wonderful and tired day...

An unforgettable trip to Malaysia

On 23 Nov, we went to Miri. We stayed in a longhouse called Tree Top. It was really very long, and had a bridge connecting to another longhouse with a pond! The auntie there picked fresh rambutans for us to eat, and the rambutans tasted very nice. They have different types of fruits, like rambutans, mangoes, etc. We actually wanted to go to the beach to watch the sunset, but we needed to cross a big road. So, we turned back and I felt very dirty stepping into the mud. At night, we ate pork and steak for dinner and it was delicious =D. After dinner, we went into a room and play blocks. Then, a cat went in and we all wanted to touch it.
The next day, we took an aeroplane to Mulu and we went to Langs Cave and Deer Cave that afternoon. Langs Cave was named after person, and Deer Cave was named after the deers whom came in the past to drink the salty water with bat's droppings inside. (-_-Ew...)
The next morning, we rode on a long boat to see the handicrafts shops and the other longhouses. GG and I bought a souvenir made from it, and they were very pretty. In the afternoon, we went to the Canopy Skywalk. It was about 2.5m off the ground! GG was too small to go on the canopy walk, so mummy stay with her. The canopy was very fun, as when you step on a wooden block, the other and will tilt up and it will make a "creak " sound.
The following day, we went to the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave. The Wind Cave was really very windy and you can drink the water from the river in the Clearwater Cave! There is a small "swimming pool",which is actually water from the Clearwater Cave. The water was very cold, specifically, it is freezing! In the afternoon, we took another aeroplane to Kota Kinabalu.
The hotel there was very big and the toilet too! We then went to Mt. Kinabalu to look at the mountains, the shops and the Kinabalu Park. On the way, we saw a sign saying "Blooming Rafflesia" The rafflesia was there for 3 days already, and in 4 days time, it will die and it will start to stink like rotten meat and it will attract flies.
The last day of our tour, we went to play arcade. Then we went to the airport and took the aeroplane back home...
The End, more next time!

Rainy Day

After school, mummy came and fetch me up. It was raining heavily and there were floods everywhere. When we walk home, the water went into my shoes and made my feet wet! The wind was very strong and it blew the rain sideways, and mummy and I were drenched! We felt cold, as the wind blew.
On the way, we step into a very big puddle that reached until my knee! The drain was not covered, and mummy tripped over. (oh oh! Poor thing!) Lucky that mummy didn't scratch he leg (I mean got no blood lah, of 'cause will scratch a little bit one mah)When we got home, we immediately wash up, because we r 2 dirty.
I will nvr forget tis experience, especially the part when I step into the big puddle! :D

Durians...

Today, I ate durian, it was very yummy! I shared the durian with nai nai, ye ye, daddy and mummy. Not all are sweet, some of them are bitter... I liked the sweet ones, but some people (nai nai, ye ye, daddy and mummy ) liked the bitter ones and the sweet ones.Georgia did not eat any durians and when I asked her why, she said she don't know.I tried to open some durians, it was very diffucult to open it. I kept on eating, until I was bloated and I felt like my tummy exploding...I have to sleep now, bye! Bye!

Fireworks

The fireworks show was very exciting, because it has loud noises and interesting shapes. Popo also went and watch with us.They used a man's body made of plastic bottles, and light up the fire to pop the man. Some of the performers wore protective shirt and pant while they had fireworks stick on their sleeves. They also used a fake small rocket, and light the bottom with light, and it flew like real rockets, cool uh? Daddy was very pitful, because he had to carry Georgia as she cannot stand on the grass. Georgia comfortly lie down on daddy's hand, and looked up in the sky. Mummy saw her, and wanted to lie down too. Ha! ha! It was a very good day, I wish to come again.

Trip to National Museum Of Singapore (with Dinosaurs in it...)

Yesterday, we went to the National Museum Of Singapore. When we reached there, the door was not opened yet! Georgia and I decided to sit on the staircase, just in front of the door. We waited, and waited... And suddenly, I heard the key tinkling, so we quickly went down the stairs.

After all the exhibition and activities, we went for the puppet show. I liked watching the show, because it is very interesting. The puppet looks extremely real!!! The man will call out the different dinosaurs one at a time, and the last one was super huge! Their species is called ' Dwarf Dinosaur' , it is a cousin to the T-Rex too! The man also asked:" who wants to feed themselves to the dinosaur?"Georgia eventually raised up her hand! When she went up, the man told Georgia to jump into the Dinosaur's mouth, but Georgia refused to do so. Then the man said:" No, I am just kidding you! You are going to feed it." So, Georgia slowly and cautiously put it into the dinosaurs mouth. What a brave girl she is!

Finally, we got the chance to touch the baby dinosaur and took photo with it. We pat the dinosaur gently, and the skin was very rough. Georgia even asked one of the puppeteers:" how does it make the sound?" The puppeteer replied:" You have to find it out yourself, but I can tell you, it wasn't me." Georgia giggled and walked away. I think the the puppeteer was pressing a controller to make the sound, because the right hand is in the back of the support. I was just guessing, so do not think that it is true, unless you yourself knows that it is true...
